Parth Kumar Prajapati

Parth has completed his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Marine science. He has also completed two dissertation projects of own. Among them, one was on “Ecological Implications of Kalpasar Project” and second was GIZ funded “Study of Plankton and their significance on two wetlands of Gujarat”. He previously worked as JRF in MoES (Ministry of Earth science) funded project entitled “Impact of climate change on anthozoans along Saurashtra Coast”. He also worked for two years as visiting faculty in Marine science, Nursing and Physiotherapy departments of various government Universities. He has guided 7 students of M.Sc. Marine Science for their various dissertation projects. Now, moving towards next generation of science and technology, he is working in School of Applied science and technology (SAST-GTU) as a JRF in GSBTM funded project of AMR network program. His research areas of interest include Plankton Biology, Icthyofauna, Anthozoans, Marine Pollution, Marine Biotechnology, Biostatistics, Metagenomics.
