Greetings from the School of Applied Sciences and Technology (SAST).
I am very proud to announce that the School was established amidst the peak of the pandemic and yet the response we have received in the past year has been overwhelming. Being one of the budding schools in the Gujarat Technological University family, we here at SAST provide students with new experiences everyday with respect to not just their curriculum but also other extra-curricular and cultural fronts. Various activities are regularly conducted for the student at school-level apart from their academics that not only provide them with a leisure pursuit but also builds their ethical responsibility to groom them as model citizens by imparting necessary life skills such as being a team player, leadership, sportsmanship and much more.
The school currently runs programs such as Ph.D. in Biotechnology, M.Sc. Industrial Biotechnology, PG Diploma Bioinformatics and Integrated MSc. Biotechnology. SAST-GTU is dedicated to encourage students to deepen their knowledge and cultivate their interests that in turn will be beneficial for their successful future. We have the latest versions and models of the sophisticated instruments and software along with dedicated laboratories to provide practical experience and develop a research-oriented aptitude among the students. Our faculty members are highly skilled and resourceful, always committed to providing the students with all academic prerequisites and encouraging them to sharpen their skills in the subject specialization of their choice. The school also promotes new innovative start-up ideas by encouraging students to develop their products. We have always strived towards excellence and continuous development to keep up with the ever-evolving world. With this, I give my best wishes for all the accomplished success and future endeavors.
