Kshipra Chauhan

Dr. Kshipra Chauhan research interests are AI-enabled diagnostics, Genomics, Population genetics of vector-borne diseases, and Evolutionary Biology of drug resistance. As the program coordinator of “PG Diploma Bioinformatics” at SAST-GTU, she has designed the curriculum and developed “Python for Bioinformatics” course for the same program. Currently, she is also actively handling the role of Review Editor in “Frontier in Genetics”. Prior to joining SASTGTU she has more than 15 years of diversified Industrial R&D, IPR and academic experience in cross-functional areas of Bioinformatics. In 2009, ICMR has awarded Senior Research Fellowship to her for her project titled “Evolutionary history of pfcrt gene in Indian Plasmodium falciparum”. During her tenure as Research Scientist at Premas Biotech Pvt. Ltd. She has developed the in-silico diagnostics tools for drug-resistant MTB.
