The School of Applied Sciences & Technology (SAST) is a force to reckon with in the GTU campus. It has well qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty with exceptional research profiles and vision. Its areas of research interest and expertise cover a broad range from diverse areas in the applied sciences and technology. Academic pursuit at SAST will be an inspiring, challenging and enjoyable experience which the students will cherish forever. The SAST offers some of the fastest growing and higher demand programs of applied sciences including Biotechnology. University students are at the heart of SAST excellence in research and education, studying with distinguished faculty and accessing high-tech research facilities, state of the art laboratories, scholarly collections, and innovation. The aim of SAST has to groom students from diverse educational and socio-cultural backgrounds to undertake cutting-edge research and innovation. I congratulate SAST for getting recommendations from the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Sciences and Technology, Govt. of India for running DBT PG program with fellowship GTU has been awarded A+ grade by National Accreditation and Assessment Council (NAAC). Achieving A+ grade in the first cycle of accreditation is undoubtedly a matter of pride and the students of the Post Graduate Departments of GTU have played a significant role in this achievement.
